Dear Families
Staff News
Rachael Paron (Yr 2) will leave at the end of the year with news of her pregnancy and expected delivery - Congratulations Rachael and Joel.
Tess Glass (LTA Yr 4) will resign at the end of the year to move to the Gold Coast with her family. We wish her well for the future.
Amanda O’Brien who is currently our Acting Leader of Teaching and Operations has been appointed the permanent position of Leader of Learning and Teaching. We are excited that we will be able to continue with Amanda in 2025 the work she has commenced this semester.
Lindsay Baker will be joining us from St Theresa’s - an experienced early years, we look forward to meeting her before the end of the year.
Students not returning in 2025
We ask that families (current Prep - Yr 5) moving on from St Joseph's in 2025 to a new school to please let the office know as soon as possible. We continue to have a steady stream of enrolments for next year and would like to avoid putting new families on waiting lists if possible.

Term 4 Schools fees are now overdue (as of 31.10.2024). Please look for an email from accounts.parramatta@cns.
If you have already made payment or have an arrangement in place, thank you.
Fees were emailed on 16.10.2024. If you have not received your statement please contact us.

Catholic Mission Donations
Thank you to all families for your participation and support of our fundraising efforts for Catholic Mission this term. As a school, we raised over $540 for Catholic Mission from the sale of Rosary Beads and our Crazy Sock Day.

Calling all Writers and Artists
Are you a budding author or future novelist? Enter the St. Joey's Book Club Writing Competition for 2024. To enter, students must:
- write an illustrated short story (picture book) of no more than 500 words. Any subject - think about what excites you or what you want to read about, it could be a magical adventure, a mystery or a story about friendship
- it must be all your own work
- entries open in week 4 and close in week 7
- entry box in the library or email to sjp.library@cns.catholic.edu.au
- entries will be judged on creativity and imagination
The winner will receive a prize and have their story published and displayed in the treehouse library!
Upcoming Sporting Opportunities
Saints Hockey Club
Saints Hockey Club is excited to invite all Prep to Year 4 students to come along and join our second Come & Try Session this Friday 8th November.
All new and current hockey plays are welcome – no experience needed!
No equipment necessary, just wear sports clothes and runners.
