Should your child not be attending the final day you are required to notify the school of their absence as usual. There will be no tuckshop available on this day, so all students will be required to bring their own lunches.

Highlights of the Week
Thanksgiving Liturgy and Passing of the Flame
On Thursday we gave thanks for the past year and acknowledged the work of our 2024 leaders, and recognised our 2025 leadership team. We also farewelled the staff and students who are leaving at the end of this year and embarking on new adventures.

The Gift of Christmas Assembly
On Friday we congratulated our final assembly for 2025, where we acknowledged the Annual St. Joseph's Way Award winners for 2024, and passed our donations from our Vinnie's Christmas Appeal on to the St. Vincent De Paul Society. The wet weather and minor flooding of the front gate couldn't dampen the Christmas Spirit of our students wearing their Christmas best.

Annual St. Joseph's Way Award Winners
Congratulations to the recipients of our Annual St. Joseph's Way Awards. Thank you to Senior Sergeant Samantha James and Donut for presenting the awards.

AFL Auskick
Hi auskickers,
On behalf of AFL Cairns, thank you for being a part of the NAB AFL Auskick program at St Joseph's School this term. We hope you have enjoyed the program as much as we have. It was great to see everyone improve their football skills across the 6 weeks! If you have any feedback, we’d love to hear from you. We are always looking to make improvements for future programs.
If you have really enjoyed the program and you don’t want the footy to stop now that Auskick is finished, there are a couple of options. Please see the details below:
