Joey's News - Week 8
From the Principal

Our Values ~ Love, Learning, Community, Respect
Our Expectations ~ Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Ready To Learn
This week we marked two significant celebrations. Firstly, the Feast of St Joseph and while the weather was not kind to us, it provided us the opportunity to gather in liturgy and be grateful for the opportunity to be part of this great community. Our “splashtastic” event will still occur -hopefully before the end of the term - if the weather plays the game. I would like to thank Jacqui Doolan, Stacey Edmonds and Kara Cavaliere for putting together the liturgy and the events for the day.
On Friday we recognised Harmony Day by wearing orange to acknowledge that we all come from different backgrounds and cultures and we bring different gifts and experiences to share with everyone. The theme “Everybody Belongs” reminds us that no matter where we come from, we are all part of the same community - living, loving and enjoying life.
With Christ, we live, love and learn

Highlights of the Week
St. Joseph's Feast Day
On Wednesday we celebrated the feast day of St. Joseph as a whole school. Staff, students and the wider community gathered in the school hall for our feast day liturgy, followed by a fun-filled afternoon with each class participating in feast day activities in the classrooms.
