Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
eSafety Resource for Parents
Navigating online safety for our children and young people can be a difficult and potentially confusing topic for many parents, especially as many are digital immigrants and not digital natives like our children. Below is a resource from the eSafety Commissioner that I encourage all parents and carers to read through, regardless of the age of their child. The digital online world continues to evolve in ways that are difficult to predict and what was considered best practice a few years ago is now being updated to reflect these constant changes - our approach cannot be a set and forget strategy.
With Christ, we live, love and learn

Student Wellbeing Survey Update 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to sincerely apologise for not informing you earlier about the current CEDC Student Wellbeing Survey. We acknowledge that there has been a miscommunication, and we appreciate your understanding.
This annual survey is conducted across the Cairns Diocese and is aligned with the National Student Wellbeing and Engagement Surveys. The survey will provide schools with student opinions on what the school is doing well and what they can improve to better promote and support student wellbeing.
Please be assured that the survey is completely anonymous, and no personal information is collected. Your child’s email address will not be linked to their responses so all responses will be completely anonymous and confidential.
Students in Grades 2, 4, and 5 have now completed the survey.
Thank you for your continued support and should you require further information please contact the school via secretary.parramatta@cns.catholic.edu.au .
Kind regards
James Roberts
Principal
Finance Department
Dear Parents,
Term 3 Fee Statements were processed and emailed out on the 22nd of July. However, it has come to our attention that not all families received the email. If you have not received your Term 3 Statement, could you please contact the Finance Department here at school.
King regards,
Alice Bruschi - Finance Officer

This form must be returned to the library during the Fair to collect the books OR used to order more copies of the books. Parents are also welcome to visit the fair in person before and afterschool. Please note though, that all payments for books or orders must be made online. We cannot take any payments at school.
The Joey's book fair will open to parents on the following days/times: Week 5 Wed 13 Aug - Fri 15 Aug 8:00-8:30 am & 2:50-3:30pmWeek 6 Mon 18 Aug - Wed 20th Aug 8:00-8:30 am & 2:50-3:30pm
Every book purchased = resources for our school library!
