From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

St Joseph’s 100 Year Celebrations

In 2027, we will commemorate 100 years of Catholic Education as a school.  This is a massive milestone for us as a school that we want to celebrate in a big way.  We believe that it should be bigger than just a single event, given the number of people – students, staff and parents that have been part of our school community.
We are now calling for Expressions of Interest from the following groups of people to be part of a Steering Committee to begin planning for the celebrations:

  • Parents
  • Sisters of Mercy
  • Staff
  • Alumni
  • Parish
  • JCC/Board

If you are interested in being part of the Steering Committee, please forward your EOI to secretary.parramatta@cns.catholic.edu.au by the end of the term ~ Friday 19th September.  Please detail your connection to St Joseph’s and the years you were involved with us, if not currently connected.  We will be back in contact by the end of Week 2, Term 4 with details of our first meeting.

There will be further opportunities for the community to be involved through supporting the organising and planning of various events.  Additionally, if you are aware of people who were connected to our community in the past and may be interested, please pass on these details to them.

With Christ, we live, love and learn
