Joey's News - Week 1 - Term 4
From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
Welcome back to Term 4.
We have hit the ground running with ensuring that we complete a successful 2025. We have also finalised classroom teacher and specialist teacher positions for 2026 and have begun to finalise Learning and Teaching Assistant positions. When this is completed, we will be able to announce all positions to our community.
This week we have also commenced our Prep Transition program with a Welcome Gathering and the program will continue for most of the term with a variety of events for both parents and students. The next event will be next Wednesday 15th October commencing at 4.45pm with a visit to the Prep Habitat followed by an Information Session from 5.30 -6.30pm.
At the end of last term, Aimee Murray requested leave for all of Term 4. Upon further reflection over the break, she made the difficult decision to resign her position from St Joseph’s. Thankfully, our Leader of Learning and Teaching - Amanda O’Brien has agreed to step back into the classroom fulltime for our Yr 4.2 students for the remainder of the year. We wish Aimee all the best for her future endeavours and will look for an opportunity to formally farewell her before the end of the term.
With Christ, we live, love and learn
