Term 3 - Week 7 Principal's Weekly Update
Principal's Weekly Update

Dear Families
Parents and Carers onsite during school time
Parents and Carers attending the school during school time (8.40am -3pm) are reminded that they are required to attend the office and not go directly to the habitats. This is both a Work Health & Safety requirement as well as a Student Protection requirement. Parents and Carers attending the habitats during class time create a significant disruption to the learning of all students. Should you require to see your child face-to-face, the office will contact the habitat and have your child brought to you in the office.
Collecting students early and relaying messages
Should you require to collect your child early during the school day for any reason, we ask that you contact the office the day before or before school on the day of the early departure so that we can arrange for your child to be at the office at the required time, minimising learning disruption or holding you up while you wait. We do understand that from time to time there are emergencies that prevent this from happening but do ask in these cases that if possible you call ahead so we can assist you.
We also understand that pick up arrangements and changes to routines happen from time to time. To support student learning, we only deliver messages to habitats between 10.40 and 10.50am - eating time before first break and between 1.30 and 1.40pm - eating time before second break. Thank you for understanding.
